Fortress SIM Cards and Service

Here at Fortress Security Store, we are upgrading our cellular network! Because of this we now have a newer style of SIM card. This blog post has more informaiton about the SIM cards that we offer.

If you are purchasing a new system today which includes a SIM card, it will be shipped with one of our "New" Style SIM cards.

What is a SIM card and how is it used with my Fortress alarm system?

"New" Style SIM card

To activate these cards, you'll enter the last 6 characters (5 numbers and 1 letter) on the website.

"Old" Style SIM card

To activate these cards, you'll enter the Act Fast Code on the website

We may send you an "Old" Style SIM card if your current SIM card is not within our coverage area on the new network.
