The Fortress Total Security RFID Keytags work great with this system. No need to fuss with the password. Highly recommend this with the Fortress Total Security System! The whole family uses them and great for easy entry for house quests too.

Work Exactly as Advertised
Review by EduardP

Excellent item to disarm the system. Employees love it, and it's nice to know who is coming and going as have IDs assigned to each RFID.

Works well
Review by James

Works well with the Total Security console and remote keyboard. Tag must almost touch the RFID spot on the panels to read. With the remote keypad you must hit a key first to wake up the unit.

I am happy with the system, I still have no idea what phone number is assoc with my sim card so I can actually use it, I have no idea why the number is not emailed or sent via text. Still confused and waiting.

RFID Keytag Fortress Security Store
Q

What is the exact purpose of the RFID TAg? How does it differ from the FOB

A

Hello Richard, The RFID keytag is used only to disarm the system, where as the Key FOB can arm and disarm. It gives you an ability to come ino the house and simply swipe the keypad without needing to enter the passcode. This is great especially if you have your hands full. You can also give them to guest or housekeepers so they can come in and disarm the system and you don't need to give them your passcode. If you have the Total Security system, you can assign custom users to each keytag so you know exactly who disarmed your system and when. Thanks, Jessica

Q

How useful Fortress Total Security RFID Keytag in home security system ?

A

Hello, The RFID keytags are great for lots of things, you can use them when your hands are too full to reach the Key FOBS. Additionally they are great for giving to guests so that they can come in and out without needing to know your passcode. You can even set each keytag to have a unique name so that you know exactly who disarmed your system. Thanks, Jessica
