This loud siren (130db) can be mounted indoors or outdoors, and communicates wirelessly with the main panel, with a wireless range up to 150 feet. When the alarm is triggered and the siren sounds, it will scare off any intruders as well as alerting you, the neighbors, and anyone else nearby. The siren also includes a strobe light that flashes when the alarm is triggered.
The siren is weather resistant, so a little rain won’t hurt. Just make sure to avoid any pooling or standing water. The internal backup battery keeps the siren running if the power cuts out, and recharges automatically when the power comes back on.

A VERY loud, externally or internally mountable siren, this alarm certainly catches the attention of anyone within earshot. When triggered, a red strobe light will flash and a very loud 140dB alarm will sound. The connection to the control panel is totally wireless and uses a 110v wall plug with an internal backup battery. Alert neighbors and passers-by to a security breach with this strobe siren. Mounted on the outside of your home or office, it is loud enough both to deter any intruder and to alert others of a break in. Maximum wireless range of 150 feet. 433 MHz wireless signal.

Just perfect right out of the box. Thank you
Siren came with S-6 Titan. For the money, this Siren exceeded my expectations. I recommend it highly.
Came with the Titan system we bought. Product works well. Nice and loud. However, I had a heck of a time attaching it to the wall securely to an outside wall without setting it off. Might just be me. Also, important to note that this listing and the manual itself states the range at 150 feet. Same as the door sensors. However, depending on which support staff you talk to, the actual range is anywhere from 50 to 80 feet for wireless sirens. The company should test it thoroughly, and get a solid range estimate. Then update this site and the manual.
I have used several of the Fortress Alarms. While they all work fine i prefer this model. It works great in my configuration
I purchased the Fortress Wi-Fi system with a solar siren. However for my install the siren was relegated to the back of my house (sunny side) for the solar. However, the back of my house did not offer the noise I wanted as a alarm and decided to add the Strobe Siren instead. My thought was to create a piercing alarm near the major potential entry points inside the house rather than outside and boy did this do the trick. I mounted it in my living room with a cathedral ceiling and when the alarm is triggered it will drive you out of the area as it is extremely loud. Couldn't be more satisfied with the Strobe Siren and the entire Fortress system.

Can the indoor/outdoor siren be programmed to work with the S02 remote fob as a stand alone system
Hello Marie, As long as the siren is a 433 siren then you will be able to do that! Generally there is a sticker on the back of the siren indicating what frequency the siren is running at Please let us know if you have any other questions! Thank you, Astrid
